Navigator APS Pushbutton with Locator Tone

Polara Navigator Series Introduced circa 2010

The Polara Navigator is an accessible pedestrian signal (APS) pushbutton with audible locator tone, tactile arrow, and vibrotactile walk indication. Meets MUTCD 2009 requirements and ADA guidelines for accessible pedestrian crossings.

Common Applications

Installed at signalized intersections on pedestrian signal poles. The locator tone helps visually impaired pedestrians find the button. When pressed, it registers a pedestrian call and provides audible and vibrotactile confirmation during the WALK phase. Standard equipment for ADA-compliant intersection upgrades.
