सक्रियAkko CS Cream Yellow V3 Linear 50g
Akko CS Cream Yellow V3 — budget linear that rivals Gateron Yellow.
सामान्य अनुप्रयोग
Akko CS switches are the new budget king — under $0.20/switch. The Cream Yellow V3 is a 50g linear with Akko Cream-style POM stem in a nylon housing. Factory lubed. The keyboard community now recommends Akko alongside Gateron as the best budget linears. Pre-lubed quality has improved dramatically in V3.
Research Notes
1. Overview
The Akko CS Cream Yellow (V3, aka "Creamy Yellow") is a budget-friendly smooth linear MX-style mechanical keyswitch — a 50 gf actuation linear with 2 mm actuation / 4 mm total travel, a cream/beige housing with a yellow stem, and factory lubrication for a smooth, slightly deep-sounding keystroke. It's part of Akko's popular value switch lineup and is MX keycap compatible (5-pin, hot-swap friendly). An upgraded "Creamy Yellow Pro" also exists.
2. User Sentiment
A well-liked value linear — enthusiasts praise the smoothness and sound for the price, making it a common budget pick for custom builds. As with any budget linear, unit-to-unit consistency and stock lubing are "good for the money" rather than premium; those wanting more refinement step up to the Pro version or higher-end linears.
3. Real-World Applications
Custom and enthusiast mechanical keyboards — an affordable smooth linear for gaming/typing in standard MX hot-swap or soldered boards, with cream-colored housings that suit themed builds.
4. Technical Specifications
- Type: Linear, MX-style mechanical
- Actuation force: ~50 gf
- Travel: 2 mm actuation, 4 mm total
- Life: ~80 million actuations (per Akko listing)
- Housing/stem: cream housing, yellow stem
- Mount: MX-compatible, 5-pin (hot-swap compatible)
- Lubrication: factory-lubed
5. Ordering & Compatibility
Sold in packs by Akko and keyboard retailers. Fits standard MX hot-swap or solder PCBs and MX keycaps. Related: Creamy Yellow Pro (upgraded), plus Akko's other CS/V3 switches (Cream Blue, Rose Red, Lavender Purple, etc.). Akko also makes magnetic/Hall-effect (HE) switches — those are a different product line (don't confuse this contact linear with the HE range).
6. Known Issues
No major reliability issues. Practical notes: budget-tier consistency/lube (fine for the price; the Pro version refines it), and it's a standard MX contact linear — not one of Akko's magnetic/HE switches, so it needs a normal MX PCB, not a Hall-effect board.

Panel cutout: 22mm. Insert from the front of the panel, secure with mounting nut from behind (tighten to 2-3 Nm).
Contact block: Snap or screw the contact block onto the rear of the button body. Ensure the contact block orientation matches the wiring diagram — NO terminals are usually marked.
Wiring: Use 0.5-2.5mm² stranded wire with ferrules. Tighten screw terminals to 0.8 Nm. Test the button function before energizing the circuit.

समस्या निवारण
Button doesn't respond when pressed
Check the contact block first — it's the most common failure point. Test continuity across the NO or NC terminals with a multimeter. If no click is felt, the return spring in the head may be broken.
Works intermittently
Contact block contacts are pitted or burned. Replace the contact block — don't try to file the contacts. Check if the rated cycle count has been exceeded.
Button feels mushy or doesn't click
The spring return mechanism in the button head is worn. Replace the head. The contact block can usually be reused if it tests OK.
