3SU1156-6AA50-1AA0

1. Overview

The Siemens 3SU1156-6AA50-1AA0 is a 22mm round metal panel-mount indicator light from the SIRIUS ACT family (3SU1 series). It features a high-gloss shiny metal body, smooth diffused blue lens, and an integrated LED module rated at 230V AC — a mains-voltage signaling device for European and international industrial panels. SIRIUS ACT is a modular ecosystem with four design lines, global product approvals, and IP66/IP67/IP69K ratings. CATALOG ERROR (two errors): The catalog lists this as "Yellow, 24V." Every source confirms it is BLUE and 230V AC. Color code AA50 = blue (AA40 = green, per Eibabo cross-reference). The 3SU1156 prefix (4th digit "6") designates the 230V class — same mislabeling pattern as product 119 (3SU1156-6AA20). The 24V equivalent part is 3SU1102-6AA50-1AA0.

2. User Sentiment

No dedicated forum discussions or end-user reviews were found. Amazon listings (US, DE, FR, MX, UAE) exist but review content was not accessible. RS Online US describes SIRIUS ACT as "Performance in Action — powerful machines need powerful signaling devices." Third-party repair services (Radwell, Classic Automation) offer refurbished units with 2-year warranties, indicating healthy aftermarket demand. A third-party Amazon seller lists it as "Original Packaging, Never Used, In Stock," suggesting grey-market availability. No negative reports found.

3. Real-World Applications

This 230V AC metal indicator with IP66/IP67/IP69K is suited for machine control panels in food & beverage washdown, automotive, and heavy industrial applications. Global deployment is confirmed by distributor listings across Brazil, South Africa, Korea, Russia, and 20+ countries. MISUMI lists it with free CAD data for panel builders. The 22mm cutout is the European industrial standard. It is a complete unit (no separate LED module purchase needed) making it a drop-in fit for SIRIUS ACT and compatible 22mm panel systems.

6. Known Issues

Catalog data error (critical): Product 153 is labeled "Yellow, 24V" in the catalog — both attributes are wrong (confirmed by 187 sources across 14 languages). Correct values: Blue, 230V AC. The led-24v subcategory assignment is incorrect; the 3SU1156 family is the 230V class. This is the same error pattern as product 119. No functional or reliability issues found in source material. Repair services (Radwell, Classic Automation) are available, suggesting normal in-service failure rates for industrial indicator lights, but no specific failure modes were documented.
